Global wins contract to provide security services for Etihad Airways
March 31, 2013 New York — Beginning today Etihad Airways has engaged Global Elite Group to provide security services for its flights at Washington Dulles International Airport. Etihad Airways is the flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates. Established by Royal decree in July 2003 and based in Abu Dhabi, Etihad commenced operations in November 2003. The airline operates more than 1,300 flights per week to 86 passenger and cargo destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas. Global will work closely with Etihad’s Aviation Security Department and the Washington Airport Management team to provide specialist security functions. Working with its aviation clients, Global has been recognized for its unique approach to providing custom security solutions.
