GLOBAL SECURITY SCREENS PASSENGERS FOR RARE AIR SERBIA WASHINGTON FLIGHT
April 8, 2020
Dulles, VA – Global Security agents screened approx. 236 passengers flying out on Air Serbia’s Airbus A330-200 from Washington Dulles International Airport on April 8, 2020 as a part of a repatriation flight. This rare flight was a two-way rescue operation of Serbian citizens stuck in the United States, and vice versa for US citizens stuck in Serbia.
Passengers were efficiently screened by our Private Charter Screening Teams in IAD at a remote airfield site and were able to board their return flight home. Air Serbia made this rescue flight for its citizens completely free of charge, unlike other European carriers performing similar flights around the world.
Global Security was excited and honored to be part of this rescue operation and facilitate these Serbian citizens getting back to their homes and loved ones so they can manage this worldwide crisis together. We look forward to participating in similar screenings in the future to support our airline clientele.
