March 2, 2014 Newark, NJ – Beginning today Cathay Pacific has engaged Global Elite

Group to provide security services for its flights at Newark Liberty International Airport.
Cathay Pacific is the international flag carrier of Hong Kong, maintaining its headquarters
and main hub at Hong Kong International Airport. In 2013, they were named by Skytrax
as the “World’s Best Cabin Staff” along with “Best Transpacific Airline”. The Skytrax World
Airline Awards are voted on by over 18 million airline passengers worldwide.
Cathay Pacific will now be providing daily direct service from Newark Liberty to Hong Kong
International Airport. Daily service from EWR to HKG will be a welcome addition to the
New York Metropolitan area as well as the continental United States. Cathay Pacific is
currently offering four‐times‐daily direct flights to Hong Kong from John F. Kennedy
Airport in Queens, along with their other gateways to the Far East from Chicago, Los
Angeles, and San Francisco.
Global will work closely with Cathay Pacific’s Aviation Security Department and the
Newark Liberty Airport Management team to provide a range of specialized security
functions.
